Process
We offer the perfect alternative to tedious hand finishing techniques because we are able to produce pristine quality while maintaining high production quantities. The use of stabilized machinery prevents “spray fatigue” commonly found when spraying by hand.
Imported from Italy, the fully automated machines we use are tried and true- proven to produce the most beauty, quality and uniformity available. Once the material enters our facility, the material is inspected. The material then enters the state of the art factory finishing process.
Starting on a vacuum belt with a conveying roller, the material quickly arrives at the sanding machine, this machine removes and debris and softly reopens the pores within the product. This allows the color to be uniformly matched throughout the entire piece of material.
The material then enters the enclosed spray booth. The machine reads the size, length and amount of paint/stain or finish needed to coat the product. The spray gun trolley is composed of four reciprocating guns that are strategically positioned to ensure that the product is coated uniformly.
It is important for the products to be completely dried before re-coating or packaging because they simply do not last as long or look as good without. After being coated, the materials will enter one of two ovens. The automatic climate controlled in-line drying oven dries the material uniformly and quickly. This drying process allows us to expedite your order of large quantities without affecting the feel or appearance of the finish.
The Ultra-Violet curing machine is one of the latest advancements in the finishing industry. For this service, a UV finish and topcoat is used in the booth. The material will then enter the UV oven. This oven not only dries the material to touch, but it also cures the material instantaneously. This provides the product with the most durable and longest lasting finish in the industry. This process gives our customers the confidence that damages associated with shipping and installation can be nearly avoided because of the stability UV provides. An added bonus in using UV technology is that lead times are reduced from weeks to hours.
After leaving the automated climate controlled oven or the UV curing machine, the material is then safely packaged with foam protection and stored until pick up.
